catching stonerollers for MB Pell

Michael B Pell is a bit of a snob when it comes to gamefish. Therefore, I heretofore forever more take it upon myself to fish exclusively for rising, spawning stonerollers with a Turks Tarantula. I particularly like how colored up this fish is. And his tubercles. I also caught my first trophy smallmouth of the season yesterday.

Cool fishes. Were they caught from your new boat?

Looks like it's breeding season for Campostoma anomalum. Those are quite nice nuptial colors. I don't recall seeing such colors while at WCU. Also looks like some glochidia have hitched a ride in the stone roller's fins (the small black spots).

You fucking cheap shot artist. That guy MB Pell is no fish snob. True, he has the best haircut in the metro D.C. area, but that doesn't mean he looks down his nose at all species of fishes.

That being said, I have to ask who told you that smallmouth was a "trophy" fish? I hope it's not the same person who told you women don't have orgasms.
